I found myself in a strange land.
Everyone Was busy,
Going up and down

At a Vertiginous speed.
One finally noticed my presence.
He shouted, “AN ALIEN.”
Suddenly, I Was surrounded.
“Who are you?” they asked.
“If only I knew,” I answered.

“Just trying to save my life.”
“You’re then violating law number XYZ.
Therefore, you should be punished for your
offense.”
I gathered all my energy to say, “I’m innocentl”
They replied:
“What else could you say?
Don’t Worry, you’ll be given an attorney.”
The attorney advised me:
“Plead guilty, that’ll save time.”
I then shouted, “But I’m innocentl”

“That’s the perfect reaction of a culprit,” he said.

“What if I plead not guilty?” I asked.
“I’m afraid you might not live long enough
To see the end of the trial.”
“What if I plead guilty?”
“At least you’ll be sentenced to death at once.
Believe me, that’s the best Way out.”
